Cubee with three.jsPosted on: March 13, 2012

Ok, I admit it... I kinda have a thing for Cubees. I'd build an entire army of them if I could, but I'm kind of lacking a printer, the required tools for cutting them out with, and that ever elusive resource called time. Naturally, this meant that I had to make a 3D version of myself using @mrdoob's awesome three.js library. Nothing mind blowing, but it was good fun and I think it turned out pretty well!

Head on over to it (be sure to click and drag around for the full effect). I lifted a lot of the code off of this demo, and one cool feature that I pulled across was that it works on smart phones too. Try it out on yours if you like (and if you have one obviously) and have some fun tapping and dragging.

I may make something more of this at some point, but we'll see how that goes!

Last point: I've only tested this in Chrome. Please don't be running an old version of IE and expect cool stuff to work. Get a real browser!
