Super Labels 2.0Posted on: November 08, 2012

Wahey! I've decided to upgrade the Super Labels version number to 2.0.

I've recently added a cool new feature which lets you specify a number of characters after which the label is to fade out (as opposed to fading out as soon as you begin typing). I've even added an option to let Super Labels try to figure out what that number should be automatically (look for more details on how it does that in my next post). The change should be totally non-destructive where Super Labels is already in use.

I've also beefed up the demo to include a few more examples as well as a tweakable version where you can play around with a few of the settings inline. Also included are one or two bug fixes, the most important of which now lets you bind superLabels more than once per page without the options cascading down to subsequent calls.

Last, but not least, I've added a new file called 'seen-on.md'. If you're using super labels on your site/project, then please feel free to fork the repo, add the url to the file and send me a pull request. If you're not all too keen on github, then just let me know where you've used it through my get in touch form.
