In fact, I highly recommend spending a little bit of time reading over that whole page to make your life a little less tedious.

In a similar vein: you can "abuse" the Chrome search engine functionality (go to chrome://settings/searchEngines within Chrome) to add quick, typable shortcuts. For example: typing gh followed by enter could open github.com if you wanted. Normally you add %s where your search term would go, but it‘s optional.
